I up and decided to create a blog for the simple fact that emailing everyone I know is becoming harder and harder for me. I hope to be able to keep up with this and once I get my new camera then I should have no problem posting recent pictures. Here's what's been going on:
Karys: she's on fall break for two weeks. I can't tell if she likes being home more or going to school. I think she misses a day with structure since she has always thrived on a schedule. She hardly takes naps anymore and yes, she is 5 1/2 so we had a good run with that, but it sure is hard when I don't get any peace and quiet throughout the day. She can write the alphabet and her name. I have spotted her name written on things that aren't paper. I'm glad she's practicing, but she needs to stick to practicing on paper!
Titus: he was all gung-ho about pottytraining (all his own idea) and now he could care less. I could care less, as well. It'll happen when he wants it to. He's not even 3 yet so I'm in no mad rush to get that one checked off the "to do" list. I'm *still* traumatized from the whole experience with Karys. He is still infatuated with "the brown truck" and loves to point out the logo on Rick's shirt, socks, paper, pen, etc. Titus' heart still belongs to the vacuum and he is still obsessed with keys as well. Oh the life of a boy, right?
Colin: he is the smiliest baby! He's getting ready to crawl and gets on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth. I find him perfecting that in his crib all of the time. He loves food and hasn't disliked anything yet. Okay, well he wasn't a fan of peas at first, but I had to water those down. He didn't like the texture. I don't blame him. Blech. He got his blood drawn out of his arm the other day and didn't cry at all! It was unbelieveable. Didn't flinch, move, jump. Nothing. My pediatrician came back into the room and said, "who's the rockstar in here?" Then he got a shot in each leg and didn't fuss for those either. Amazing. His hair is still curly and he really needs a haircut very soon. It's getting all moppy on top. He lost most on the sides and in the back, but you can never tell that, because he has so much everywhere else.
